With a name like Lucifer, one hardly expects to find the Garden of Eden, but this tiny restaurant in the village of Garzon is heavenly, with only about six tables and pastel-painted chairs set in a little garden shaded by ancient fruit trees. It's the love child of fresh-faced chef Lucia Soria, who worked with Francis Mallmann (Argentina's most celebrated chef) for more than nine years,  most recently at Mallmann's restaurant down the road in Garzon, about a half-hour drive from the boho beach village of José Ignacio. Now happily cooking in the garden behind her modest home, Soria serves up daily-changing dishes, including a tangy gazpacho made with freshly picked cucumbers and parsley, and perfectly grilled prawns with bagna càuda and potato salad, all inspired by the bounty of the day. Soria has also just opened a second restaurant in Montevideo called Jacinto.
